Eight months ago, Finly was diagnosed with a large (10 cm in diameter) arachnoid cyst growing in his brain..

After months of tests and scans, they found out that it was affecting his functioning and development, and his doctors recommended that he have the cyst removed. The surgery was low risk but came with a list of potential complications.

They were originally expecting Finly to be out of the hospital in 4 days, but a series of unexpected complications, that included a brain bleed and a buildup of excess spinal fluid, led to him having to undergo a second surgery in a matter of days. Finn has been in the hospital for two weeks now with no discharge in sight, and they are now facing the possibility of him having to undergo a third surgery.

What makes things more challenging is holding the financial burden that comes with a health related emergency like this, so we are looking to raise funds to help with hospital expenses and household bills.
