I am so grateful for everyone’s support in making Cooky Bakery the success it has been.
It is with great sadness that I must reach out to you. For the past year and a half our ovens have been giving us endless problems. They have been repaired nine times during this time. Costing thousands of dollars. We are at a point where they need to be replaced. We are at risk of closing until we can find the funds to replace them. I don’t want our story to end here. It’s not in my nature to give up.

Your contribution will help keep our doors open with no disruption to our business. We currently have an extraordinary team. I do not want any disruption in their hours/pay. They are part of my family and it’s important that I do everything I have to keep Cooky open. Through the generosity of other business owners, we are baking our products in various kitchens. This is temporary and not sustainable, and it causes a disruption in their business while we are there during their business hours. Also, as the weather gets colder the product losses its integrity in transit.

I believe in community and the strength that comes from it. By supporting this campaign, you are not just replacing ovens. you are sustaining my employee’s jobs and ensuring that we are around for another ten years.

Once the ovens are up and running, we want to give back to our community with a bagel brunch block party.
