About a month ago, Blue seemed to become lethargic and had a reduced appetite. He also had a big growth spurt.
We took him to the vet, but they were not concerned. A few weeks later, we decided to take him back because of our concern when they immediately told us to go to the Aurora Animal Hospital.

They took him in right away and started to run tests. They kept Blue for multiple days with many tests to diagnose him. He has fluid in all his joints, pus in lymph nodes, and blood clots in his spleen, to name a few. At this point, the diagnosis is not all complete (still waiting on some cultures), but they tapped his joints to reduce the pain from the fluid and put him on IV fluids and antibiotics. Blue’s incomplete diagnosis is non-erosive immune-mediated inflammatory polyarthropathy while waiting for more test results.

We know times are tight for everyone, but if there is anything you could do, we would truly appreciate the help.
