Support a College Student Battling Thyroid Cancer

In early November of 2023, I went to my annual doctor's appointment as usual and was told the scariest news a person could ever be told. I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer.

It had started off as stage 1 and very minimal and non-invasive to anything vital. Recently, as I started my summer after my second year of college, I was told it had progressed to stage 2, meaning it was progressing into smaller parts around the thyroid.

With that being said, I’m a college student who works extremely hard, but has a life slightly different than most. I pay for all of my medical, personal, and school expenses and have found it harder than expected to keep up with the school end of financials. I work my butt off to provide for myself but as we as a society are aware, our economy is asking for a whole lot more than just nickels and dimes. While I’m not a person to ask for handouts, anything helps me while I strive to finish out my last two years of college. Thank you for taking your time to listen/read my story.
